Boom Box!

Have you ever wanted an incredibly awesome boom box with a massive rechargeable lithium cell, bluetooth capabilities, and almost complete immunity to water?  This is that boom box!

This project started because I build myself a gaming machine around a mini-itx motherboard which could be crammed into a big heavy suitcase (for lan parties and the like).  This was awesome, but there was no sound.  I first started considering what would be the best way to get some audio.  Headphones of course would work, but since this machine is for lan parties, headphones aren't ideal since I can't hear what else is going on in the room.  At first I imagined a small box with a little amplifier that could be driven off the computer's power supply.  This would work, but is just so very boring.

I put off the project for a while not knowing how I wanted to attack it, but then saw some PVC-pipe speakers and had an inspiration.  Forget the little speaker module I had planned, and build a full-size, full-awesome PVC pipe ghetto-blaster.
